  IVP is currently looking for software engineers with 1-5 years of commercial coding and software design experience. Experience of working in the financial sector is sought after but more important is that you possess the technical ability and professionalism to contribute successfully at IVP. We work in closely-knit teams, often to tight deadlines and demanding functional requirements. You must be motivated and committed to succeed.
 
• Qualifications
• Application Design - Should have good design fundamentals and knowledge of architectural patterns. UML like Class diagram, Entity Relationship diagram, State and Activity diagram. Knowledge of common design patterns like factory, producer/ consumer, singleton, MVC are must.
• Strong object-oriented design and development experience in .NET Technology (C#, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF etc), Component and web-based technologies (ActiveX, SOAP, HTML, XML, XSL, IIS, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript).
• Relational database development in SQL Server—All versions (2005/2008/2010).
• B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline
• Experience in front/middle/back office automation areas like Order Management System, Portfolio Accounting Management System, Reconciliation, Security & Market Data Management etc.
• Experience in Design tools like Rational rose or Visio.

IVP is currently looking for full time Business Analysts to join the company’s Business Analyst (BA) group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a niche market leader servicing the technology needs of the alternative investment industry (hedge funds, private equity funds and fund of funds).

Our business analysts typically gather and analyze business requirements to a level of detail that is differentiating and unique. Both process-oriented and quantitatively literate, they are involved in all aspects of requirement analysis, application design and system testing. We are looking for consultants with the right mix of skills and experience to contribute to our business analyst group.

With 1-3 years of experience post MBA or 3-5 years of relevant work experience, you will possess the tenacity, intellectual ability and physical stamina to succeed as an IVP business analyst.
 
• Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze business requirements by working closely with Front/Middle/Back office clients
• Leverage prior experience/expertise and IVP knowledgebase to advise clients on specific problems with creative solutions
• Motivated and committed to succeed in tightly knit/globally distributed teams to meet tight deadlines from functionally demanding clients
• Learning about alternative investment industry and generating ideas to grow client footprint/new product ideas
• Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience post MBA or 3-5 years of relevant domain intensive work experience
• Working knowledge of alternative investment management industry, major systems, key platform concepts and applications used
